The influence of socio-drama harvest festival method on group B children’s language and social-emotional development
This study aims to determine the influence of sociodrama harvest festival method on language and social-emotional development in group B Kindergarten, Dharma Wanita Persatuan Cerme Gresik. The method of study was quantitative research using nonrandomized pretest-posttest control group design, conducting measurement before and after the treatment. The learning process was done using an experimental design that consisted of control and experimental group. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is the influence of sociodrama harvest festival method on language development and social-emotional in group B kindergarten, Dharma Wanita Persatuan, Cerme Gresik. It is known from the difference of language and social-emotional development before (pretest) and after (posttest) by using sociodrama harvest festival method in the experimental group. In conclusion, the first hypothesis of research was proved true.
