The effect of accelerated learning methods, discussion and achievement motivation to learning outcomes
This study was aimed to describe the effect of student learning outcomes that used discussion method and accelerated learning method. The study applied quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted in class X-IPA-1 and class X-IPA-4. Selection of two classes based on random sampling technique. Analysis technique used a two-lane anova. Based on data analysis, it was found that: (1) there were differences in students' learning outcomes taught using discussion method and accelerated learning method. This conclusion was based on the result of hypothesis test on posttest score that was thit 3,983> ttable 1.69 at 0.05. (2) There was no difference in student learning outcomes that had high achievement motivation and who had low achievement motivation. This conclusion was based on result of hypothesis test with thit 0.259 <ttabel 1.69 at 0.05.(3) there is no significant interaction between the model of learning with student achievement motivation. This conclusion was based on the level of significance 0.05 obtained coefficient value F = 0.129 <sig. 0.720.
