The Relationship Among The Religiosity Level Of The Student, Attitude And Their Activities
The purpose of this study is to explain the influence of the level of religiosity knowledge of sociology students on their attitude and religiosity activities. This study was designed with quasi- experimental. The initial step is carried out with a pre-test, followed by treatment and ends with a post-test. Treatment in class was given the subject matter about Pascal’s Wager thinking, a debate between pragmatic arguments and belief in God. The difference between the post-test and the pre-test in this study is assumed to be the effect of the given treatment. Primary data were collected by questionnaire. Respondents consisted of undergraduate students in sociology. The treatment is given to students of educational sociology by strengthening their beliefs about the existence of heaven and hell, and the risk if they do not believe it. By increasing their understanding of religiosity, their assumptions will automatically be followed by controlled religious attitudes and behavior, and will not violate religious norms. The results found that there was a significant influence between the treatment of teaching religious material delivered to Class A students of Educational Sociology with an increased understanding of religiosity.
