Use of Computer Based Training in The Subjects of Solid-State Electronics
This study aims to examine the use of learning media Computer Based Training and Analog Experimenter in the subjects of Solid State Electronics in Aviation Polytechnic of Surabaya, Electrical Engineering Department courses, and Telecommunication And Air Navigation courses. This study uses quantitative experimental research to see the results of learning differences between cadets using learning media Computer Based Training and cadets using Analog Experimenter media. Prior to statistical tests, empirical tests were performed by validating research instruments involving experts. The validated instrument is 1) Semester Learning Plan (SLP), 2) Pratikum Event Unit (PEU), 3) Taruna Worksheet (TW), 4)Pratikum Solid State Electronics’s module course using Computer Based Training and Analog Experimenter. Based on the results of the research shows that the use of Analog Experimenter learning media is better to the learning outcomes than using Computer Based Training media in the classroom learning.The results of the study also emphasized that the media cannot be separated, interrelated and have a synergy effect in the success of learning activities as part of the learning system and as part of the variables that affect the learning conditions, learning strategies and cadets.
