The improvement activity and learning outcomes with application of cooperative learning model type student team achievement division

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research aims to increase the activity and learning outcomes of social sciences through the application of cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division type with scientific approach conducted in 3 cycles. The subjects of this research is the fourth grade students of elementary school second semester of 36 students, consisting of 18 male students and 18 female students. Data of research result of student activity and learning result as learning outcomes increase. Based on the results of the learning, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Student Team Achievement Division type with scientific approach can improve the activity and learning outcomes of Social Sciences the subtheme of Indahnya Keragaman Budaya.
