Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) Parenting in developing religious and moral values for children (2) Child's behavior in religious and moral values with authoritarian family pattern (3) Child's behavior in religious values and Moral with a permissive family pattern (4) Child's behavior in religious and moral values with a democratic family pattern. This research uses qualitative phenomenological approach. The subjects of this study were children aged 4-5 years. Techniques of data collection used are interviews, observations, and document studies. For validity of data is checking done through credibility, transferability, and confirmability. (1) Principal: exemplifies and evaluates the activities of the school (2) Teachers: as teachers, educators, and exemplifies (3) Children: attitudes and behaviors of children in school ( 4) Parents: as educators and exemplary at home. The problems may faced in the Role of Parents in Developing Religious and Moral Values Children are the limitations of educators 'ability to understand the characteristics of children, the limitations of educators' supervision, and differences in perceptions of parenting patterns at school and at home.
