Application of learning models based problems to increase skills troubleshooting and students activities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in problem-solving skills and learning activities of students through problem-based learning model. This study uses a class action (PTK). Data collection technique used observation and documentation. To analyze the data using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the research and the data analysis, it is obtained as follows: (1) problem-based learning model can improve the problem solving skills of students on the course development AUD. This was evidenced by the results of the study in the first cycle at 58% and in the second cycle reaches 85%, so the increase is 27%, (2) model of problem-based learning can improve students' learning activities in the course Development AUD. This was evidenced by the results of the study in the first cycle at 50% and in the second cycle reaches 74%, so the increase is 24%, (3) a very high student response to the implementation of development courses AUD. It can be seen from the percentage of students who agree 83%, do not know 11%, and 6% did not agree.
